ARRIVAL

Arrival Day – Welcome to Tanzania

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our friendly Lindo Travel & Tours representative will warmly welcome you and assist with your luggage. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Arusha or Moshi, where you can relax, settle in and prepare for your upcoming adventure.

DAY 1

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, your professional safari guide will pick you up and drive you to Tarangire National Park, approximately 2–3 hours away. Known for its impressive elephant population, ancient baobab trees, and beautiful savannah landscapes, Tarangire offers an excellent introduction to Tanzania's wildlife. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive through the park, exploring its diverse habitats in search of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and numerous bird species. The Tarangire River attracts large numbers of animals, particularly during the dry season, creating excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later, leave the park and transfer to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 2

Karatu – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, travelling through the beautiful landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards the endless plains of the Serengeti. Along the way, enjoy spectacular scenery and opportunities to spot wildlife as you approach one of Africa's most celebrated safari destinations. Upon entering the Serengeti, begin your game drive, exploring its vast grasslands and searching for the famous African wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, and wildebeests. The Serengeti is particularly famous for the Great Wildebeest Migration, although wildlife sightings and migration locations vary depending on the season. Enjoy a picnic lunch along the way before continuing your afternoon game drive. Later, proceed to your lodge or tented camp within or around the Serengeti for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 3

Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Wake up early for breakfast before heading out for a morning game drive in the Serengeti, when wildlife is often particularly active. Explore the beautiful plains in search of predators returning from their nightly hunts and other animals beginning their day. Depending on the season and wildlife movements, your guide will take you to areas offering excellent opportunities to observe the Serengeti's remarkable wildlife. After your game drive, enjoy a picnic lunch before departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey offers another opportunity to experience the changing landscapes and wildlife of northern Tanzania. Upon arrival, enjoy the spectacular views of the Ngorongoro highlands and crater rim before proceeding to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 4

Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend approximately 600 metres into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive. Often described as one of Africa's greatest natural wildlife destinations, the crater is home to a remarkable concentration of animals living within its unique ecosystem. Explore the crater floor in search of elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, and the endangered black rhinoceros. With its diverse habitats, including open grasslands, forests, wetlands, and Lake Magadi, the crater offers excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated picnic site before ascending the crater walls and beginning your journey back to Arusha. Arrive in the late afternoon and transfer to your hotel or Arusha Airport, marking the end of your memorable four-day Tanzania safari adventure.
