Did you know that the tallest tree in Africa, as well as the 6th tallest tree in the world, is found inside Mount Kilimanjaro national park? Where Kilimanjaro national park is one among the 16 national parks that are in Tanzania which is under TANAPA (Tanzania National Parks) It has the height of 81.5 meters and age between 500 to 600 years. It's one of the tourist attraction found in Mount Kilimanjaro. We hope that KINAPA will preserve it by any means possible to enable people from different corners of the world to come to Tanzania climb the mountain, and get a chance to see the tree.
