You meet with one of our safari driver guides at the airport where he will deliver a short welcome brief followed by 50 minute – 1-hour drive to Moshi or Arusha for your overnight stay.
We will leave Moshi/Arusha city and drive to Lake Manyara National Park, lunch will be served at the campsite/lodge, right after lunch you will enter the park for an afternoon game, the park is located on the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment, due it’s year around green habits the park support different verities of wildlife, such as elephants, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, and the most peculiar tree’s climbing lions plus different species of birds. The game drive ends in the evening where you will drive back to the campsite/lodge for your overnight.
After breakfast we will drive towards the Serengeti National Park, passing through Ngorongoro Conservation Area, heading towards the most surprising wildlife area in Africa. Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as your eye could see. We will drive up to the central part of the park Seronera the finest wildlife habitats in the park, the highlight includes the Seronera River, which provides a valued water source to this area and therefore attracts many of the most found animals in the Serengeti national park.
This morning we will leave the campsite/lodge with our lunch boxes ready for a full day of game drive in this ancient Serengeti ecosystem, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and giraffes are often seen grazing in herds. This is one of the best places in the world to spot lions dozing in a shade, leaping after a marked prey or gnawing off a share of their hunt, continue with the game until evening where you will drive to the campsite or lodge for a hot shower and delicious dinner.
Today is our last day in the Serengeti and so we will wake up and do an early morning game drive until 10:00 am then we come to the campsite or lodge for brunch (breakfast & Lunch) all together then we drive back to Ngorongoro Conservation area. We will stopover at Olduvai Gorge, (optional) boasting with a history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here, that the anthropologists Drs. Lois and Mary Leakey revealed the skulls of the ’Nutcracker Man’ and ‘Handy Man’, both very significant links in the chain of human being evolution, arrive there at around 04:00 pm – 5 pm enjoy the views of the crater and amazing landscapes.
After breakfast, it is time to descend into the caldera floor 610m, for a full-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino. Supported by year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants.
Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its huge population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard. We will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor, continue with a game viewing until late afternoon where we will ascend the crater and drive to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, we will go for a full day of game viewing in Tarangire National Park. The park runs along the line of the Tarangire River and is mainly made up of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals, during Tanzania’s dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. Ngorongoro is home to three rare species of animals Fringed-eared Oryx, Greater Kudu, as well as a few Ashy Starlings. After a picnic lunch continues with the game until late afternoon, where you will be taken to your campsite/lodge for overnight.
We enjoy a half day game drive in the Tarangire National Park, lunch will be served in one of the beautiful picnic sites inside the park. After lunch, it’s time to drive back to Arusha/Moshi/ Airport, and this ends your wildlife adventure safari.
