This 6 Days 5 Nights Tanzania Lodge Safari will give you a chance to visit some of the best national parks in Tanzania, the tour takes you to Lake Manyara, Serengeti for 3 nights and will finish at Ngorongoro Crater. Depending on your time of travel, you may also have a chance to witness the Serengeti great wildebeest migration. Both camping and lodge safari can be arranged for this tour.
Pick up will be in the morning just after you finish breakfast, meet with your guide who will give you a short brief about the upcoming safari tour. Then drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day game drive.
Lake Manyara National Park encompasses three distinct habitats including lush groundwater forest, open floodplains, and acacia woodlands. Large buffalo, wildebeest and zebra herds can be seen on the grassy plains, as do giraffes, whereas the narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favored haunt of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants. Enjoy the game drive until sunset where you will drive back to the campsite/lodge for overnight
Breakfast will be around 07:30 – 08:00 am where will start our long journey of 5-6 hour drive to the remote Serengeti national park the oldest and the most famous national park in Tanzania and Africa in general and probably in the word too, as its given the category of the (World Heritage Site) its stunning landscapes and its great wildlife experience which it offers makes it the best park to visit for true adventure activities, you will be doing an en-route game drive until late evening where you will be taken to the campsite/lodge for dinner and overnight
Spend this day exploring the Serengeti vastness, visiting the best sports known for offering unique game viewing possibilities, lunch boxes will be arranged so that you get more time in the bush rather than going into the bush and come back for lunch. Enjoy this extended game drive until sunset where you will be returned to the campsite/lodge for overnight.
Another full day in Serengeti, this time visiting other parts of the park, depends on the time of your travel Serengeti’s great migration might be there where some six million hooved mammals pound the open plains of the park, as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson's gazelle join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti still offers arguably the best game-viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe are to sported enjoy the natural vegetation of the park. After the game return for dinner and overnight.
There will be nothing to compare like waking up when predators are also active at this time, we will do an early morning game drive seeing the Serengeti in a different aspect as the sun comes out, if are you are lucky enough you might come across the hunt, imagine yourself seeing lions hunting a zebra or finding a packs of hyenas fighting on carcass, in the Serengeti all is possible, after the morning tour we will go back to the campsite/lodge for brunch (breakfast and lunch altogether) then we do another en- route game drive while heading back to Ngorongoro conservation area.
An early departure this morning will take you to the incredible Ngorongoro Crater. Descend down to the crater floor for a full day game drive. This incredible formation is part of the larger Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which covers more than 8300 square kilometers. The actual crater is 260 square kilometers and 620m deep.
The Ngorongoro Crater is home to about 25,000 animals and is one of the last places in Tanzania where the Big Five can be seen. Additionally, the Ngorongoro Crater is unique because it is a multi-use conservation area - where the animals and environment are protected but the Masai are allowed to live and continue their pastoral lifestyle.
