Itinerary » Mikumi to Udizungwa Mountains National Parks - 5 Days
In the morning after breakfast at around 8:30 am, our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam or Dar es Salaam International Airport and travel to Mikumi National park whereby you will arrive there in the afternoon as you will check in and have lunch. After a short rest, you will start the afternoon game drive in the park, and later dinner and a night stay.
After Breakfast in your accommodation followed by both morning and afternoon game drives in the park home to Elephant, Lion, Wild dog, Zebras, Hyena, Buffalo, Wildebeest, Eland, Hartebeest, Crocodile, Lizard, and other residents. Over 300 species of birds have been observed in this park. You will have your lunch dinner and night stay.
This day will be quite different from other days since you will have to wake up at 6:00 am for early morning game drives in Mikumi park followed by breakfast at 08:45 am in your accommodation, after breakfast relax at leisure until lunch hours before you travel to the Udzungwa Mountains National park whereby you will arrive in the mid-afternoon. After check in you will take your time having an evening rest and relax at leisure waiting for dinner and a night stay.
On this day you will have Breakfast in your Camp then prepare your feet and necessary essentials for your walking safari, you will be spending your morning and afternoon in this beautiful Park enjoying and experience the stunning natural beauty of the park. During the afternoon you will have Lunch in the bush then proceed exploring this secret garden with wonderful waterfall, endemic Red Colobus Monkey and the beautiful scenery with a lot of butterflies, evening experience the Sun Set before return to the Camp for dinner and night stay.
After breakfast, you will check out from the Camp and your driver will take you back to Dar es Salaam and arrive in the early afternoon for your international flight or various activities within the city before your departure.
